Writing has always been a driving force for every moment in my life. Since the 3rd grade when I had my first story published in the Wilson County News I've loved to write. The awards I won from my third grade teacher, Mrs. Habby likely impacted my love for reading and writing which has developed over the years. The therapy behind writing has healed many wounds and assisted in my growth and wellness. The sad thing about this is that most of my writings are in spiral note books lost and faded over time.
Photography is another key to our lives. We capture as many moments through a lens as we possibly can, freezing them in time to cherish forever. I have learned through loss of loved ones and the tragic death of my best friend that each moment is significant enough to be captured.
Thanks to technology and the genus of it all I am able to combine my two greatest passions, writing and photography. Placing the right words with the frozen moment of a memory is priceless.
Our days right now have been filled with joy, laughter and love.
I hope to raise Sophia with a strong foundation of who she is, with the pictures that her moments are captured in and the story to flow along with them.
